I chose to complete a UX Audit of Dark Sphere (https://www.darksphere.co.uk/) because they’re a business that I have purchased from for a long time and I believe that their website’s User Interface and User Experience do not align with the value that they can provide their user base.

A specific to this user base is a greater need for differentiation of products than other customer bases. Where you would need to separate products into different categories in general shopping experiences such as Amazon or a supermarket like Tesco; within board, card and tabletop miniatures games customers will often only be interested in products within a specific play style within a specific game, for example their Warhammer 40k faction.

Where Dark Sphere differs from online-only businesses is that they also need to cater to a user base of customers that go to their in-person location, and so information about this store needs to be easily accessible as well.
